These are a few screencaps from a Sherlock fangame that I’ve been working on for several months now. I intended for the game to be really simple at first, but somehow the project has been getting bigger and bigger the more I work on it. And, of course, I’m being a perfectionist about the whole thing, so it’s going super slowly.
Anyway, I’ve gotten tired of not showing anyone what I’ve been doing, so here we are! I hope you guys like it, I’ve been having tons of fun working on it! :D
OH. MAAH. GAAAAAAAHD.
WANT. THIS. RIGHT. NOW.
If Sherlock was on Blues Clues
“A clue? Of course there’s a clue, there’s always a bloody clue. Shut them up.”
He just figured out Blue’s Clues, because he’s infinitely smarter than us.
CORPSES :D
i wasn’t ready for this post
But I would argue it’s no coincidence that the TV shows with the strongest communities right now are not funded by advertisers.

Sherlock e-cards by Alice X. Zhang. Her work is amazing! These aren’t all of them, but Tumblr only lets me put in 10… You can find them all here. Please reblog with this comment, she deserves the credit for her hard work!
No… Just. No.
…No.
At all.No.
Elementary is the homophobic version of Sherlock.Actually I would say the show that has a lesbian fall for a man be a lesbian because the creator has a history of fetishizing queer women and make the two protagonist a “NO HOMO” joke over and over again… I wouldn’t consider that very queer friendly. And honestly, my sexuality wise, surprisingly I would sooner connect with the Elementary Sherlock over “Sherlock“‘s version any day.
A+ to all of this. Man, I’d hoped that this “Elementary is homophobic” bullshit would dry up a few weeks after Elementary’s premiere. It’s sad to see that there are still people who slam the show for casting a woman as Watson and pretend it’s because they’re allies.
People who think that Watson being a woman is “homophobic” are making the assumption that the only reason to give a traditionally male role to a woman is to make her a love interest. It couldn’t be because women are hugely outnumbered by men in lead roles, despite making up over half of the world’s population. Nor could Holmes’ and Watson’s relationship be rooted in anything other than sexual tension— Oh, wait. Executive producer Robert Doherty has repeatedly, explicitly stated “that he has no interest in Holmes and Watson hooking up, or even pining for each other.”
Elementary is homophobic? It looks to me more like a large portion of Sherlock fans are misogynistic.
#original article has a point about Watson #every Holmes has such a specific Watson that fits them so perfectly that you couldn’t ever replace that Watson with any other #so you’re watching Elementary and at no point are you distracted by Watson being a woman #because she’s just this Holmes’s Watson#and it’s the reverse too #BBC Watson would never be able to get on with Elementary Holmes #and there is no reality in which Elementary Watson and BBC Sherlock would manage to bear each other’s presence for more than a week #so we don’t need to keep comparing them because there’s nothing to compare #it’s Holmes and Watson and a totally separate Holmes and Watson #it just is
The reason I dislike Elementary is that it just doesn’t feel like Sherlock Holmes to me. I think I would like it if they weren’t named Holmes and Watson but maybe sorta parallel somehow? I love BBC Sherlock, whch I know some people feel just isn’t their kinda Holmes either. As for the Watsons, what do you mean Martin lost in the sass category? What? XD But seriously, I really do think the BBC version is better, and that’s just my opinion. Go watch whichever Holmes you like, or better yet, WATCH ALL THE HOLMES?
